Join me on a Reset Week!

A quick one this week, you will understand why.

I was recently offered to work on the translation of one of my favourite games... I OBVIOUSLY couldn't say no, but it means I’ve been working until late in the evening to fit in the extra work.

What did I notice?

Less sleep = less motivation for self-care.

It's so hard to exercise and eat well when you're tired.

Less sleep = less focus.

Everything is harder when I'm tired, but resisting distractions is the hardest of all.

Next week, I will be done with this side project, and I'm planning on going back to my routine.

I will be doing a reset week, where I'm less flexible than usual with my habits. (I got the idea from Emma Storey-Gordon on Instagram.)

This is to jumpstart my healthier routine, gain momentum, and make it easier to stick to it afterwards.

My 3 reset rules will be:

  • In bed by 10pm (optimal: 9:30)
  • 15 minutes of yoga every morning (optimal: 30 minutes)
  • 3 strength training sessions per week (optimal: 5)

Notice I'm giving myself range targets.

👉 Something that's easily achievable even on the hard days.

👉 And something optimal that I can do if everything goes to plan.

This is because I want the targets to be realistic, but also to push myself to do more if I can.

Wanna join me? Tell me your 3 reset rules and we'll keep each other accountable next week!

You can copy-paste this and reply to this email with your own targets:

My 3 reset rules will be:

  • Good enough: Optimal:

Om, peace 🧡
