I know it and still can't quite believe it...
I used to think exercise was something that drained energy.
After all, the last thing I want to do when I'm already exhausted from work, family and life, is moving more. How could exercising possibly help?
But then I discovered something that changed everything: our bodies aren’t just tired, they’re stuck in standby mode. And the science behind it blew my mind. Let me explain.

Think of your body like a rechargeable battery.
When you stay still all day, sitting at your computer, your energy doesn’t deplete completely, but it never fully charges either.
But when you move (going for a walk, dancing in your kitchen or doing a quick yoga flow), your blood starts pumping. This delivers oxygen and nutrients to your brain, muscles, and organs, waking up every cell in your body.
Suddenly, you're no longer dragging through the day, you’re buzzing with life.
Even better? Movement even helps your body build more energy factories (mitochondria). More mitochondria = more energy reserves.
And yes, just 10 minutes a day makes a difference.
Here’s the catch:
When we feel tired, we assume rest is the answer. And you know I'm a big supporter of rest ().
But often, the real solution is to start moving.
Moving your body boosts feel-good chemicals, improves sleep, and gives you the energy you’ve been craving. Not just for yourself, but for your family, friends and everything you care about.
So, how about a simple challenge?
If you’re ready to build momentum, I’m creating a 5-day movement challenge for the Yoga with Clem community, and I'll invite a few people to join us. I’ll share details soon. (Spots will be limited, so stay tuned!)
For now, why not try 10 minutes today? Take the stairs, stretch, or walk in the park. Start small, feel the shift, and watch your energy grow.
Om, peace 🧡
